Five years of Law School...... and it's a wrap!

It was about five years back,

that you stepped into this world unknown; 

pretty much clueless 

not knowing why or where this would take you

That first day, the first question, "Why Law?"

Vivid answers you did hear,

"for getting justice!" or "joining politics!"

and that one honest guy who said, "IIT toh hua nahi"

Then came the mighty seniors, 

starting the "intro" with a disclaimer; 

They gave you the campus gyaan

and said, "Chill Yo! This is I.P man!"

The classes you initially ran for, 

and soon began to run out of;

That sword of attendance o'er your head

and that friend's proxy that later blessed!

That one memo modified by all,

and the fortune spent on photocopy; 

Shutting M.P Jain and Seervai slam!

It was dukki that made you pass your exam!

The love that bloomed in between classes,

the few friendships surviving the tide of time;

Those were moments lived and memories made

such deep imprints... they seldom fade!

You leave this institution today, 

taking with you a big part of it;

Leaving behind a glorious trail, 

of laughter, love and success tales!

Late entry in Zubair 'n' Ravinder sirs class you'll miss,

and not forget the warmth of socio and pol;

Vandana ma'am's echoing laughter,

and Shivani ma'am's evidence in Court;

Upma ma'am's natural flair,

will help you deal with criminal affairs; 

Queeny ma'am's fun filled history,

will keep you away from traps of treachery; 

Kanwal ma'am's stopwatch rushing,

as you sprint with sweat gushing;

Wani Sir's words of wisdom shared,

he ensured that for the battle of life you were geared;

Now as you step out of this haven,

into a world full of locked horns; 

we wish you immense success!

May you tame the tides and play with the storm!
